About The Position
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of workshop equipment (primarily AC filling stations) at customer sites. This role includes providing technical advice, promoting service contracts, and ensuring optimal product performance and uptime.

About The Position
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and commissioning of workshop equipment (primarily AC filling stations) at customer sites. This role includes providing technical advice, promoting service contracts, and ensuring optimal product performance and uptime.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair of all Waeco products (mainly AC filling stations).
- Commission and instruct customers on Waeco products (mainly AC filling stations).
- Offer and sell service contracts, parts, upgrade kits, and consumables during visits.
- Keep products fault-free and ensure expected uptime.
- Advise customers on new developments and provide on-the-job training when needed.
- Answer operational questions during customer visits.
- Participate in trade fairs and training sessions.
- Travel daily within the BENELUX region

A suitable background would be a the following in term of qualifications and experiences:
- Technical background or equivalent experience in automotive technology, car mechanic, or refrigeration technology (or equivalent).
- Mastery of local language (Dutch or French) and basic English are essential.
- Knowledge of French is a significant advantage if Dutch is the primary language.
- Basic Dutch is essential if French is the primary language.
- Previous experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance and repair roles.
- Hands-on experience with workshop equipment or similar technical systems.
- Experience in customer-facing roles is an advantage.
- Strong technical understanding of workshop equipment and related systems.
- Familiarity with standard software (MS Office, Outlook, Teams).
- Basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
- Customer-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
- Flexible and able to work independently as a self-starter.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage, but not a must.
