As a Junior Trader, based in our Antwerp headquarters, your main quest will be to curate a portfolio of lucrative customers and transactions by forging formidable bonds with trusted partners across Emerging Markets. In this role, you won't just follow the market; you'll shape it. You'll set and pursue the market development strategy for your dedicated region, actively participating in the formulation of the global strategy for your product portfolio. Your guide in this endeavor will be a senior trader.

Your base will be Antwerp, but your adventure will take you to your assigned region, where you'll make things happen. And that's not all—get ready for occasional global explorations to further our business objectives. Join us in this exhilarating journey toward success!

Your Main Responsibilities Are

• We won't let you dive in blindly! Start with comprehensive training where you'll learn everything about file management on operational, documentary, and financial fronts, focusing on business activities in Emerging Markets. As a trade coordinator, you'll be the linchpin in our global operations. Manage files, bring documentation to life, and keep an eye on the big picture while contributing to our successful transactions.
• Once you feel confident with file management, it's time to spread your commercial wings. Collaborate with clients, create enticing quotes, and use your negotiation skills to seal deals.
• You're never alone in this journey. Work closely with your colleagues of trade coordination and report to an experienced senior trader who will guide you.
• Maintain intensive contact with suppliers, stay on top of product prices, and share market knowledge with colleagues worldwide.
• Board international business trips to meet clients and colleagues in person, and seize the chance to discover new markets.

Wie ben jij?

• Your educational background is oriented towards commerce, technical expertise, or logistics.
• You understand the essence of being a 'Trader' – it's about the art of buying and selling, preventing and solving problems, and fostering unwavering loyalty among both customers and suppliers.
• Proficiency in both French and English is a must. If you speak Dutch or Spanish, it's a plus.
• You reside in close proximity to our Antwerp headquarters and are willing to embark on frequent travels to your assigned region.
• Your interpersonal skills are outstanding, allowing you to build strong relationships across diverse cultures and personalities.
• As a results-oriented individual, you exhibit a high level of organization and precision. You possess a unique talent for negotiation, a driving desire to learn, and the maturity to thrive in an international environment.
