Cloetta is looking for a Quality & Food Safety (QFS) Manager for our factory in Turnhout. In this role, you are a member of the local management team and report to the Group QFS Director. You lead the local QFS team and work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, R&D and the international QFS organization.

What Will You Contribute To?

You ensure that quality and food safety are embedded in everything we do. As a member of the factory management team, you lead the QFS strategy implementation within the factory and, together with your team, build a culture of quality, prevention and continuous improvement.

Within Your First Year, Together With Your Team, You Will Have:

• Developed and successfully deployed a strong multi-year QFS roadmap across the organization.
• Ensured a thorough surveillance of the Raw material and product compliance to the specifications along with a strong management of non conformities with a view to continuous improvement.
• Further reduced consumer and customer complaints and quality incidents.
• Increased quality awareness and ownership at all levels of the organization.
• Embedded QFS into the challenging investment, R&D and improvement projects that are shaping the future of our factory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Food Technology, Food Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality management within a food manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with GMP, HACCP, BRC and quality management systems (ISO 9001).
• Knowledge of European and local food safety legislation.
• Experience with incident management, risk assessments, root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and modern digital tools.
