The successful candidate will oversee the deployment of new ticketing equipment, coordinate the decommissioning and recycling of existing hardware, and establish the operational maintenance model for the new infrastructure. This role requires strong project management capabilities, stakeholder coordination, budget oversight, and a hands-on approach with regular field presence across Wallonia.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead several strategic technical projects as part of a large-scale ticketing system renewal programme.
The successful candidate will oversee the deployment of new ticketing equipment, coordinate the decommissioning and recycling of existing hardware, and establish the operational maintenance model for the new infrastructure. This role requires strong project management capabilities, stakeholder coordination, budget oversight, and a hands-on approach with regular field presence across Wallonia.
Key Responsibilities Equipment Deployment
- Lead the end-to-end deployment of new ticketing equipment, including validators, sales terminals, inspection devices, and related infrastructure
- Define deployment strategies and rollout plans
- Coordinate installation activities across vehicles, depots, and infrastructure
- Validate installation quality and ensure compliance with technical standards
- Manage pilot implementations and phased rollouts
- Coordinate with regional operational teams and external suppliers
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, and interdependencies
- Manage the phased removal of existing ticketing equipment
- Prepare technical specifications for deinstallation activities
- Coordinate dismantling, storage, recycling, and disposal operations
- Ensure restoration of affected infrastructure where required
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams throughout the process
- Design and implement the operational maintenance model for new equipment
- Define maintenance processes and procedures
- Manage spare parts strategy and inventory
- Oversee maintenance contracts and supplier performance
- Monitor SLA compliance
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Track equipment availability and operational performance
- Manage project budgets and financial scope
- Review supplier change requests and additional work orders
- Validate technical justifications and associated costs
- Verify completed work before invoice approval
- Contribute to financial reporting and budget monitoring
- Ensure project delivery within agreed financial parameters
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams across technical, operational, and business functions
- Coordinate internal departments, regional business units, infrastructure teams, and external vendors
- Facilitate workshops and steering meetings
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and issue resolution
- Provide regular progress reporting to programme governance
