Your duties and responsibilities?

As Chief Accountant, you’ll play a key role in financial compliance and strategy across multiple entities:

  • Ensure financial statements comply with Belgian, French, and IFRS standards
  • Review and support tax filings with the help of external advisors
  • Monitor and advise on tax regulations and assess their impact on management decisions
  • Deliver financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership
  • Prepare planning and documentation for internal and external audits
  • Act as liaison between group entities (France/Belgium) and external accounting provider
  • Travel to India several times per year to collaborate with external service teams

Ideal profile?

  • Experience: 10+ years in a similar accounting/tax role, ideally in an industrial or international group
  • Languages: Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Qualifications: Higher education degree in Accounting or Finance; strong command of Belgian, French, and IFRS accounting standards
