We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting strategic financial decision-making. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financials.

Responsibilities

As a key member of our finance team, you will:

• Take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations
• Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with BGAAP and IFRS standards
• Lead critical month-end and year-end closing activities
• Continuously improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiency
• Partner with internal stakeholders and auditors
• Contribute to SAP optimization and process enhancements
• Support, guide, and mentor accounting staff
  
  
  

Qualifications

You are a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for quality and improvement. You also have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• At least 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Strong expertise in:
• SAP (essential)
• VAT regulations
• BGAAP and IFRS
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills
• Experience in a fast-paced or international environment is a plus
• A hands-on mindset combined with strong analytical skills
• Confidence to work independently and take ownership
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills in Dutch and English
• Self-starter, self-managed and flexible
