YOUR ROLE

Managing the accounting for a portfolio of companies:

• Prepare monthly and annual closings in order to provide management with relevant financial information

• Analyze and monitor balance sheets and P&Ls

• Prepare audit files and collaborate with external auditors

• Other responsibilities:

• Manage the Procure-to-Pay flow, including payment workflow

• Play a hands-on, key role in the optimization of our ERP and related finance applications

• Challenge existing processes and design them with an “Automation First” mindset to reduce manual work

• Leverage AI tools for repetitive tasks – reconciliations, matching, reporting – when automation reaches its limits, while keeping a critical review of the outputs

• Assist the tax team with fiscal matters: VAT, corporate tax, etc.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or master's degree in a financial field

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a large company (+50 people)

• Excellent knowledge of accounting and BEGAAP standards

• Good knowledge of the Belgian fiscal environment (VAT, corporate tax)

• Good knowledge of ERP (D365 is an asset) and Excel (complex formulas...)

• Understanding of automation and process digitalization, and a strong interest in – or experience with – AI tools applied to finance

• Excellent knowledge of French and ability to communicate in English

• Good deadline management and organizational ability

• Good communicator
