We are seeking a highly experienced Performance Manager to perform an independent performance and resilience audit of a large-scale distributed application platform built on Java microservices. The mission focuses on identifying performance bottlenecks, scalability limitations, resilience gaps, and operational risks while providing actionable recommendations to improve system stability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the performance assessment of a complex Java/Spring Boot microservices ecosystem.
• Analyze transactional workloads, batch processing flows, and system scalability.
• Identify application, database, messaging, and infrastructure-related performance bottlenecks.
• Evaluate PostgreSQL database performance, query efficiency, replication mechanisms, and reporting workloads.
• Assess event-driven communications, Kafka-based integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and asynchronous processing patterns.
• Review resilience mechanisms, fault tolerance, error handling, and service recovery capabilities.
• Evaluate monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, and observability practices.
• Analyze the impact of data migration and document migration processes on performance and system stability.
• Produce evidence-based findings, risk assessments, and performance improvement recommendations.
• Present audit conclusions and strategic recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Expert-level experience conducting performance audits in large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in Java application profiling and performance diagnostics.
• Proven experience identifying application and technical bottlenecks in microservices environments.
• Deep knowledge of observability platforms, monitoring tools, logging frameworks, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Strong understanding of resilience patterns, fault tolerance, and high-availability architectures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Spring Batch, containerized platforms, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
