Embedded Software Engineer - #49705

We are looking to strengthen our ClickShare R&D team with an Embedded Software Engineer Android. In this role, you will design and implement both low-level and application software on Android-based embedded devices.

You will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with engineers and testers to deliver high-quality solutions for our newest product line.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse product requirements and translate them into specifications and architectural designs
• Work within an Agile Scrum team on the ClickShare product range
• Develop back-end logic and user interfaces
• Optimise execution, robustness, and system resource usage
• Collaborate with testers to identify, track, and resolve issues
• Maintain documentation for developed software modules
• Contribute to planning by estimating development effort and timelines
  
  
  

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a software-related field, or equivalent through experience
• Around 5 years of experience with Kotlin/Java and C++
• Experience developing embedded software/firmware on Android
• Experience with Android application development
• Knowledge of embedded Linux is an advantage
• Familiarity with domains such as networking, CI/CD, multithreading, or Agile methodologies
• Broad technical interest and willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to work independently and handle deadlines
