About this role

Ready for a challenge? As an Operations Performance Specialist, you will drive the operational performance, execution, and financial health of our logistics network across Belgium. You will bridge executive vision and ground-level execution by translating country strategies into tactical city-level roadmaps. Collaborating with local and global stakeholders, you will deliver optimized cost management while caring for our couriers and nurturing a high-performance culture to keep us ahead of the competition.

Reporting to: Head of Operations Scoober

These are some of the key components to the position:

  • Translate overarching country strategy into actionable city-level operational roadmaps to bridge executive vision with execution.

  • Take ownership of the regional logistics Profit and Loss (P&L), focusing on Cost Per Order (CPO) and operational expenditure.

  • Lead cost-saving initiatives and process improvements by implementing global standards with Centers of Excellence (COEs).

  • Drive content and metrics for the Monthly Business Review (MBR) process, delivering data-driven insights and strategic pivots.

  • Navigate a matrix environment, collaborating with Sales and Customer Service to align logistics performance with commercial promises.

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to build sustainable processes and establish alignment with the Shared Service Centre (SSC).

  • Manage high-level operational escalations and live risks, advising the Head of Operations on safety and emergency measures.

What will you bring to the team?

  • Analytical storytelling skills with the ability to use predictive analytics to forecast operational trends for executive leadership.

  • Deep subject matter expertise in last-mile logistics, core Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and regional employment models.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to evaluate complex, non-routine operational factors and implement long-term business solutions.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the capability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborative mindset to guide cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with local government and municipalities.

  • Process-driven approach to identify revenue leaks, optimize operational models, and maintain commercial viability.

  • Ability to champion the voice of the courier while managing operational compliance and labor regulation standards.
