What You'll Do

As a Senior QA Specialist, you'll take ownership of quality throughout the software development lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on test automation and release excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test suites to ensure product stability and performance.
• Create automation solutions for UI, API, load, and performance testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify testing requirements and automation opportunities.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
• Perform manual testing when needed to validate complex workflows and edge-case scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects while driving issues through resolution.
• Lead quality initiatives across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Coordinate and oversee release validation activities to ensure successful product deployments.
• Analyze test results, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations to improve product quality.
• Mentor and support junior QA team members, sharing automation expertise and best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, frameworks, and testing methodologies.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field.
• Strong experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Expert-level proficiency with Cypress and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing for:
• User Interface (UI)
• APIs
• Load Testing
• Performance Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and software quality best practices.
• Experience creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar defect tracking and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English is mandatory; Dutch is a helpful plus but not a hard requirement.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Percy visual testing.
• Experience testing SaaS products in cloud-based environments.
• Passion for continuous improvement and automation-first testing strategies.
