Application Architect (Java) - #47833

We currently have a vacancy for an Application Architect (Java) fluent in English and French, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site and off site.

Your tasks

• Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Data analysis and data modelling;
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
• Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers;
• Production of software architecture documents;
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users;
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
• Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture.

Requirements

• University degree in IT, combined with 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Minimum 8 years of experience with Java, SpringBoot and Hibernate;
• Minimum 5 years of experience with RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging and Kafka;
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Typescript, Angular and NodeJs;
• Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud;
• Good knowledge of applications design;
• Good knowledge of modelling tools and business process analysis;
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS;
• Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
• Excellent command of the English language.
