About The Role

Job Purpose

The Operational, Import, NPI & Tactical Planning Consumer teams are part of the Logistics & Supply Chain Planning department and are responsible for the Master Production Plan of Bridgestone EU consumer plants on an operational and tactical horizon (up to 18 months), including Import Planning and New Product Introduction processes.

The team is looking for a new intern to support a variety of planning, analysis, and digitalization activities.

Responsibilities


  • Support OPP & Tactical leaders in data analysis and monthly PowerPoint presentations for plants and top management
  • Collect data and issue key reports shared with top management and other stakeholders
  • Support teams in key digitalization projects (e.g. reporting transfer to Power BI)
  • Document key processes within the Operational & Tactical Planning team
  • Collaborate mainly with OPP & Tactical teams, and also with other stakeholders including plants, COE, Tactical Planning, Distribution Planning, Demand Planning, Sales, and suppliers from other Bridgestone entities


Qualifications & Experience Required

Education


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering


Experience


  • Advanced level in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with OMP, MS Access, VBA, or Power BI is a plus


Technical / Functional Skills


  • Experience using data analysis tools (Excel, Microsoft Business Intelligence, or other relevant business software)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Detail‑oriented and accurate
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to efficiently collaborate with cross‑functional teams


Languages


  • Fluent in English
  • Any other European language is a plus


Soft / Behavioral Skills


  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of people with different personalities and backgrounds
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to translate numbers into insights and present them in an easy‑to‑understand manner
  • Planned and organized approach to completing tasks
