Key Account Manager Reagents Benelux 100%

What will you do:
  • Implement regional plans in Benelux and promote fully integrated sales solutions (instruments and reagents/kits)
  • Develop and promote automation solutions for immunoassays and LC-MS sample preparation for key CDx reagent rental accounts
  • Monitor the LC-MS market for CDx applications and develop local business development strategies aligned with the European plan
  • Identify new market segments, emerging applications, and strategic partnerships within the Clinical Diagnostics market
  • Ensure compliance with Tecan’s values, code of conduct, and business processes
  • Drive sales of IVD products (IBL) within the target CDx market and actively manage key CDx accounts
  • Network with key opinion leaders and partners to drive business
  • Manage customer expectations and provide excellent service
  • Actively participate in sales meetings, providing quality input and follow-up actions
  • Work closely with commercial colleagues and global marketing team to develop tactics and programs and team sell (as appropriate)

In Sales Execution
  • Ensure that Benelux sales growth and profitability targets are achieved
  • Propose and implement local growth plans in line with overall company objectives
  • Forecast IBL reagents sales orders on a regular basis or when requested
  • Generate customer required documentation including correctly formatted quotations
  • Submit tenders and RFQs
  • Maintain CRM by adding new contacts, opportunities, generating quotes, keeping all customer information current and providing accurate forecast information for the territory

In Market Intelligence
  • Provide market feedback, development, and activities in Benelux CDx core business (LiHa/Reagents)
  • Monitor competitor activities

Your background We’re not just looking for hard skills: We’re looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within clinical diagnostics or clinical research
  • Strong knowledge of immunoassays, LC-MS, and IVD products
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and customer expectations
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales documentation
  • Willingness to travel within Benelux up to 3–4 days per week and across Europe as needed, but living in Belgium.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices and Tecan values
  • Scientific degree in biology, biochemistry or similar life sciences (preferable master’s degree, bachelor with experience possible).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial sales Clinical Diagnostics
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus.
