Are you a MarCom expert who doesn't wait for a filled agenda but builds one yourself? For an international market leader, we are looking for someone who helps put a region and two business units on the map.

The company is a West Flemish family business that has grown into a global player with more than 15,000 employees. They combine the structure of a multinational with a corporate culture that is down-to-earth, collegial and human. People are not a resource here — they are a priority.

The role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. For the Nordics region (Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Greenland), you will largely build the marketing from a blank slate. Local teams are in place but need direction. At the same time, you carry responsibility for two entities that each require their own go-to-market approach.

You report to the Manager Nordic & Central Europe and work closely with digital specialists. The strategy follows the business needs — how you get there is up to you.

Your Responsibilities

• You translate regional sales and product priorities into a concrete marketing plan with your own budget ownership
• You develop and execute omnichannel campaigns for the Nordics, from digital content to trade fair presence
• You coach and guide local Nordic teams on marketing and strengthen the collaboration with Sales
• You manage repositioning, rebranding and market introductions
• You contribute to copywriting, brief design teams, organise events and monitor performance via dashboards
• You lead regional projects and support the roll-out of new features and services
• You travel a few times a year to the Nordics for trade fairs and customer visits
  
  
  

Profiel

• You have at least 5 years of marketing experience
• You are equally comfortable translating strategic challenges into a clear and actionable plan
• You take ownership, set your own priorities and are not afraid to steer other departments towards different KPIs
• You thrive in an environment where ownership is appreciated and initiative is expected
• You are fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
• You are willing to travel to Scandinavia a few times a year
• You live within a 30-minute drive from Waregem
