Our client, a leading public sector organization, is modernizing its application landscape into a microservices architecture on Kubernetes. The project adopts an API-first and event-driven approach to enhance agility and deliver value to internal and external users.

Responsibilities

  • Define the test automation strategy, including tool selection, architectural design, and coverage measurement.
  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to ensure robust test documentation and results.
  • Develop and execute automated test suites within a modern microservices environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment using BDD methodologies.
  • Report software quality metrics and findings to developers, analysts, and management stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members regarding testing best practices and standards.

Requirements

  • You have 8+ years of experience in quality assurance and testing using BDD, Gherkin, and XRay.
  • You bring 8+ years of expertise in test automation with Playwright.
  • You possess 8+ years of programming experience with Java, SpringBoot, JSON, OpenAPI, and XML.
  • You're experienced with synchronous and asynchronous communications, specifically REST APIs and ActiveMQ.
  • You have worked with frontend technologies including Angular, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • You possess expert knowledge of Jira and Confluence within Agile and Scrum frameworks.
  • You have obtained ISTQB or equivalent professional testing certifications.
  • You're an experienced coach with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of Dutch, French, or English.
