Within the IWM Center of Expertise “Data Management” based in Brussels (Degroof Petercam, the Belgian entity of the IWM group), we are currently looking for a Data Scientist.

Your position

As a Data Scientist at the CDO Office, you will support the team by delivering AI and smart automation use cases. Your main objective in this function will be to automate all sorts of data tasks within the bank. You will engage with business to look at how you can deliver them value, understand their use case, and solve it in a highly interactive process. Some cases will require advanced modelling techniques, or LLM’s; others are two regexes and an intelligent merge.

Other Tasks Include

• Creating and updating of:
• Documentation – Inform your stakeholders;
• Dashboards – Provide Insights into your solution;
• Technical Workshops - Train your users;
• Process automation by scripting;
• Deployment, decommissioning, and monitoring of running applications;
  
  

Your profile

• You are holding a Master’s degree in computer science with an orientation with statistical knowledge
• You have excellent writing skills and are fluent in English, and French or Dutch.
• Your personal motto is “Show me the code”.
• You’ve mastered Python
• You’re interested in discovering Open Source tools (OpenWebUI), Agentic Frameworks, and Containerization.
• Team spirit is in your DNA, and you like to work in a dynamic team in a challenging environment.
