Business Development Representative (BDR) – Berchem (or Louvain-la-Neuve)

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you play a key role in driving our commercial growth. You are responsible for proactively identifying and engaging prospects, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling high-quality meetings for our sales teams. Working closely with Sales and Marketing, you help build a strong and healthy pipeline by ensuring the right prospects are engaged at the right time.

Your role

• Proactively identifying and prospecting new business opportunities through outbound initiatives (cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach).
• Acting as the first point of contact for outbound leads, ensuring a professional, timely, and impactful approach.
• Qualifying prospects based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our solutions.
• Scheduling well-prepared and qualified meetings and calls for the sales teams, providing all relevant background information.
• Accurately tracking and updating prospect interactions in the CRM system.
• Collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing to review pipeline performance and continuously optimize outreach strategies.
• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of outbound prospecting and appointment-setting processes.

Your profile

• Proven experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar role with a strong outbound and commercial focus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Comfortable working with CRM tools and data-driven workflows.
• Confident and persuasive communicator, particularly over the phone.
• Proactive, self-driven, and motivated by achieving results and targets.
• Able to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
