The Heroes Belgium team (the megaminds behind FACTS, Heroes Comic Con and Made in Asia) is looking for an internship hero to join the team. Do you have a knack for marketing & communication, videography & digital media, sales or event management? And are you passionate about events? Then join this assembly of pop culture Avengers in their quest for the ultimate high mass of geek culture.

 

Heroes Belgium is looking for the following internships:  

• Videographer 
  
  

In the land of online communication, audiovisual content is king. Nowadays, nothing can stop a scrolling feed like solid audiovisual content does, especially in our cinema and TV-minded communities. Enter the videographer. You transform brainstorm to broadcast in an epic way, you know your way around image, sound and editing, and you like challenging yourself in the field of visual and video content.

• Researcher 
  
  

You gobble up relevant gaming, movies, series, and comics reports like you’re Pac-Man in a maze and you have no trouble finding and keeping up with the latest news. This also sparks you to come up with original perspectives and fresh ideas for various activities and content.

• Creative writer 
  
  

If there’s one group that adores creative writing, it’s the Heroes Belgium community. If you have the superpower to write inspired stories and texts in various formats that can grip the reader and make them feel like they ‘belong’ with the use of pop culture references, then this is the internship for you. Come and ‘Stan Lee’ their minds!

• Social media
  
  

You think in emoji, speak in gifs and you breathe in hashtags, in a world with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Discord accounts. You don’t cower from the idea of providing a solid social media strategy and creative content ideas for the Heroes Belgium communities, who are used to around-the-clock entertainment. • Digital Storyteller
  
  

Creating an event is not just about tables, stages, and chairs, it is first and foremost selling a story and dragging the visitor into the narrative. In other words, Heroes Belgium is always on the lookout for a natural writer who can captivate a geeky community with out-of-the-box stories and nods to pop culture. 

• Visual Marketeer
  
  

Having the nicest texts and content for an event is a must, but that creativity must also be visualised in a finetuned marketing campaign with the right visual branding. Think you have what it takes to make our campaigns go Super Saiyan? 

• Event and Project management  
  
  

Taking a concept and knowing how to motivate the correct crew and attract the right necessities for the activity is a true talent. If you enjoy handling everything from start to stage performance and from plan to booth, then come and craft a universe with Heroes Belgium.

What do we expect from you? 

• You’re a student in Audiovisual Arts/ Journalism / Digital Content / Communication / Marketing or any other relevant field of study. 
• You’re interested and knowledgeable in gaming, comics, movies, series, and other pop culture phenomena.
• You already have some basic skills and some experience in programs like Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, InDesign, and the like.
• You are available for a minimum period of 8 weeks, between September and December 2027.
• To be considered for an internship at the Heroes department, you need to have a knowledge of Dutch, French and English. 
• You have a flexible attitude.
