The company works with several premium equipment manufacturers, including Volvo Construction Equipment, Sennebogen, and Holms Attachments.
For their Volvo Portfolio we are supporting them in the search for a highly motivated National Dealer Manager – Compact Equipment.
Job Description:
As National Dealer Manager you will be responsible for managing and developing the dealer network for compact construction equipment in Belgium for the Volvo portfolio.
In this role, you will drive the performance, growth and professionalization of the dealer network while strengthening long-term partnerships with local dealers.
- You will manage and expand the dealer network, ensuring strong market coverage across Belgium.
- Identifying, approaching and onboarding new dealers will be key to further expand the network and support business growth.
- Through regular visits, you will maintain close relationships with existing dealers and act as the main point of contact for commercial and operational matters.
- Dealers will be supported in their commercial development, including sales activities, campaigns, training and product positioning.
- Dealer performance will be monitored through clear KPI’s (sales, service quality and customer satisfaction), with improvement or action plans implemented where required.
- You will support the rollout of commercial initiatives, marketing campaigns and technical updates within the dealer network.
- Close collaboration with internal teams will ensure optimal support and a high level of service towards the dealer network.
- A key aspect of the role will be the introduction and rollout of new brands within the existing and future dealer network to support further growth and diversification.
- You report directly to the Head of Compact & Solutions.
Experience:
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, providing a strong foundation for a commercial leadership role.
- You bring solid experience in dealer management, channel management, or a similar commercial role within a B2B environment.
- Experience within construction equipment, agriculture, horticulture, material handling, automotive, or other capital goods is preferred.
- You combine strong commercial insights with a pragmatic, relationship-focused approach to business.
- Building and nurturing long-term partnerships with external stakeholders comes naturally to you.
- You are comfortable working with KPI’s and business plans/reviews and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
- A technical affinity allows you to quickly understand the product portfolio and the market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills enable you to influence and support dealers effectively.
- You thrive in an autonomous, field-based role with frequent travel across Belgium.
- Fluency in Dutch, French and English is required.
