About The Role

A leading international player in the defence and aerospace sector is looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) to support strategic bid and project activities within a highly technical and international environment.

As PMO, you will play a key role in project governance, financial follow-up, reporting, coordination, and process improvement across complex programs involving engineering, finance, sales, and project teams.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical work, stakeholder coordination, and operational project support in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Support Project Managers in planning, execution, and project monitoring
• Assist with resource planning and workload coordination
• Participate in bid and project review meetings
• Consolidate and analyze project data related to:
• revenue
• milestones
• cashflow
• actual costs
• Estimate At Completion (EAC)
• Monitor project performance and support decision-making through reporting and KPIs
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes, methodologies, and governance
  
  

Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Ensure project documentation is complete, structured, and accessible
• Support lessons learned and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Maintain high-quality reporting and project tracking standards
  
  

PMO Tools & Governance

• Support and maintain PMO tools and reporting systems
• Help optimize project governance processes and methodologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Sales & Marketing
  
  

Profile

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in:
• Engineering
• Economics
• Law
• or equivalent experience
  
  

Experience

• Previous experience as:
• PMO
• Project Coordinator
• Project Manager
• Experience within a complex technical environment such as:
• defence
• aerospace
• heavy industry
• engineering
• industrial transformation
  
  

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel skills are mandatory
• Knowledge of one or more of the following is a strong asset:
• Microsoft Project
• Power BI
• SharePoint
• PPM tools (Sciforma, Planisware, etc.)
