As a Test Assembly Engineer, you contribute directly to the reliability, quality, and readiness of railway test systems, from physical assembly to documentation and traceability.
You are responsible for the assembly, wiring, power integration, and mechanical setup of test benches and system prototypes, ensuring full compliance with railway standards and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and integrate railway test systems, racks, and prototypes (electrical, mechanical, and power aspects)
Perform wiring and cabling based on electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Install and configure power supplies, power distribution units, and test equipment
Support system bring-up, functional testing, and first-level troubleshooting
Ensure compliance with railway safety, quality, and documentation standards
Produce and maintain technical documentation (as-built files, wiring diagrams, procedures, BOMs)
Collaborate closely with system, test, and quality engineers throughout the project lifecycle
Apply strict safety rules and contribute to configuration control and traceability

Profile / Requirements
Required Profile
Technical degree (Technician, Bachelor, or Engineer) in electromechanics, electronics, or equivalent
Proven experience in assembly and integration of test benches or industrial systems
Strong hands-on expertise in wiring, cabling, and power integration
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
High level of rigor and attention to detail, especially regarding documentation
Autonomous, structured, and solution-oriented
Comfortable working in regulated and safety-critical environments
Experience in the railway sector is a strong asset
